Privacy Policy

Through the forms available on our websites, we may collect the following personal data:

Booking form (Escapada Lingüística):

• First and last name
• Email address
• Phone number (optional)
• Approximate Spanish level
• Preferences and needs for the retreat (diet, comments)

Volunteer form (colaborar.linguallogy.com):

• First and last name
• Email
• Instagram profile (optional)
• Availability and type of participation
• Teaching experience and personal description

Supplier and partner form (colaborar.linguallogy.com):

• Project or company name
• Contact name
• Email
• Type of collaboration
• Description of the project or service
• Proposed prices or conditions

The personal data collected is used exclusively to:

1. Manage your booking request for the Escapada Lingüística retreat: confirm availability, arrange a level assessment call, send booking documentation and coordinate logistics.
2. Manage your volunteering or collaboration request: assess the profile, communicate the decision and coordinate participation.
3. Communicate with you regarding the service requested: pre-retreat information, programme changes, payment documentation and any other communication needed to provide the service.
4. Comply with legal obligations arising from the provision of the service (invoicing, legally required records, etc.).

We do not use your data to send unsolicited commercial communications, to build profiles for advertising purposes, or for any purpose other than those indicated.

Personal data is not sold or transferred to third parties for commercial or advertising purposes.

However, to provide the service we may share data with the following processors, acting under the controller instructions and with the safeguards required by the GDPR:

• Email providers (communication with participants)
• Telegram (internal management notifications)
• Hosting provider (Abacus AI — website hosting)
• Google Analytics and Meta (Facebook) Pixel — only if you give your consent in the cookie banner, for analytics and advertising-effectiveness measurement (see the Cookie Policy)

Note: Grupo SMZ has only assisted with the preparation of these compliance documents as an external adviser. They do not process and have no access to our users personal data.

Where required by the competent authorities, data may be disclosed in compliance with legal obligations.

Data may be processed outside the European Economic Area (EEA) by technical service providers necessary for the operation of the site (such as the hosting provider) and, where applicable, by analytics and advertising providers (Google, Meta) when you give your consent, with the appropriate safeguards established in Chapter V of the GDPR (Standard Contractual Clauses or recognised adequacy mechanisms).

Data is kept only for as long as strictly necessary for the purpose for which it was collected:

• Booking and retreat management data: until the end of the event and, thereafter, for the applicable civil and tax limitation periods (a minimum of 5 years for tax obligations).
• Requests not converted into a contract: 12 months from the request, unless the user requests deletion earlier.
• Volunteer and partner data: until the end of the selection process and, in the event of collaboration, throughout the relationship and the applicable limitation period.

Once these periods have elapsed, the data will be securely deleted or anonymised.

Under Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR and the LOPDGDD, you have the right to:

• Access: obtain confirmation of whether we process your data and access it.
• Rectification: request the correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Erasure ("right to be forgotten"): request deletion when the data is no longer necessary or you withdraw your consent.
• Restriction: request the restriction of processing in certain circumstances.
• Portability: receive your data in a structured, commonly used format.
• Objection: object to the processing on grounds relating to your particular situation.
• Not be subject to automated decisions producing significant legal effects.

How to exercise your rights: by sending a message to [email protected], stating your name, identification document and the right you wish to exercise. We will respond within a maximum of one month of receiving your request (extendable to two months in cases of particular complexity).

Complaints: if you consider that the processing of your data does not comply with the regulations, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD): www.aepd.es · C/ Jorge Juan, 6, 28001 Madrid.

The controller has adopted appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction, in accordance with Article 32 of the GDPR. These measures include:

• Encrypted transmission via HTTPS/TLS protocol.
• Access to data restricted to the people strictly necessary to provide the service.
• Regular review of compliance with applicable data protection regulations.

The controller reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy to adapt it to new legislation, case law or business practice. Changes will be published on this page with the update date indicated. Continued use of the website after changes are published implies acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
