Terms & Cancellation Policy

These terms apply to your participation in the Escapada Lingüística retreat. By sending a booking request and confirming your reservation, you agree to the conditions described on this page. Please read them carefully — if anything is unclear, contact us before you book.

Sending a booking request through this website does not charge you anything and does not yet reserve a place. After we receive your request we will contact you personally to confirm availability and answer your questions.

Your place is confirmed once you pay a reservation deposit of 30% of the total price of your chosen package. The remaining balance is due before the start of the retreat, on the date we agree with you. We accept payment by PayPal, Revolut, Wise, bank transfer or card. This website never asks for or stores your bank or card details.

In accordance with Article 103(l) of the Spanish Consumer Protection Act (TRLGDCU), the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to this service, as it relates to leisure activities with a specific date of performance (23–25 October 2026). You are expressly informed of this before confirming your booking.

If you cancel more than 14 days before the start of the retreat, your reservation deposit is fully refundable.

If you cancel within 14 days of the start of the retreat, the reservation deposit (30% of the total price) is retained to cover commitments already made on your behalf. Any amount you have paid above the deposit is refunded.

Flight tickets are never included and are never refunded by us. We do not book, sell or handle flights — you arrange your own travel, so any airline cancellation or change is subject only to your airline's own rules. We strongly recommend booking flexible fares and taking out travel insurance.

We aim to run every activity as described, but the program may be adjusted for reasons beyond our control (weather, supplier availability, group size or safety). If a specific activity cannot go ahead, we will always try to offer a suitable alternative; where that is not possible, we will refund the proportional part of the price corresponding to the activity that did not take place.

If the retreat cannot take place at all, you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund of the amounts you have paid to us.

The retreat is covered by dedicated public liability insurance (responsabilidad civil) for the event, and the houses and the suppliers we work with carry their own insurance as well.

That said, you take part in all activities at your own risk and are responsible for your own health, travel documents and belongings. We ask every guest to take part in the activities responsibly and with common sense. You are expected to have your own insurance covering illness and any health problems, and travel and medical insurance is strongly recommended. We are not liable for loss, injury, illness or additional costs arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control.

The details you share when booking (name, contact details and any notes) are used only to organise your participation and to contact you about the retreat. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
